The thing about obsessions

To those whom are acquainted with me, would most likely associate me with penguins at one point or another in our period of acquaintance.

This has become glaringly true a few days back while I was meeting a recent friend. He gave me this:

It was a tiny bottle of something, according to him then, it was supposed to contain a penguin stuff toy. (This cost him RM39.90 WTF, so expensive. I feel bad.)

But I was only recently interested with penguins, (because I'm technically a normal girl who falls for any cute stuff toys generally) about a year ago; there really is no way one would find out so easily of my obsession.

Hrm. So I was obviously stalked. LOL.

This was how it looked after I peeled the lid open. I kept fiddling with it for almost a day before finally succumb to curiosity (and necessity) to find out what exactly is inside.

If it was really a penguin, how big would she be after inflating herself? Probably no more than my Guin's size. T_T Guin is my tiniest baby girl, click here to see her. ;)

That looks kind of painful... Lol.

Sure enough it was a penguin. A flat one that is, at the moment. Haha!

I was told that there would be instructions inside but all I could find were a piece of lengthy paper written in Korean, and this:

A piece of plastic bag. T_T Written in Korean! AAAAA!!!

Photobucket

All I could understand was the 150ml and 200ml. Lol.

This was at the bottom of the plastic bag. My roommate and I wondered long and hard (about two minutes) but all it came down to was water and drowning the poor doll in the bag.

Photobucket

So I filled the bag up to maximum level, 200ml, and put the doll inside. Wrapped the plastic up because I thought I needed to make sure every inch of the penguin to soak up.

Or she might end up having one fat fin and another scrawny one.

Photobucket

She was one thirsty penguin!

But the head didn't soak up much so I put in a little bit more water to give her at least half a brain, or the looks of it. :p

Photobucket

All fat and HEAVY.

I tried squeezing water out of her but it wouldn't even drip a drop. (O.o) I took her out and almost immediately wondered if she'll dry up one day and be skinny again?

Photobucket

This is how she looked after being a little more dry!

After two days out in the open air, she lost most of her weight and became fluffy instead! :D She's not as small as I thought she would be though, just about Guin's size.

Thank goodness, I was so near to naming her 'Pengu-lina'. Like, Thumblina? :D *cold joke*

I now have five penguins in total! ♥ Name suggestion anyone?

Also thanks to Azrin for the penguin! :D
