A sweet adventure ♥

One of my best memory in the year 2010 was the time when I get to visit my darling Ping in Singapore. ♥ I skipped a night of shopping with my parents to see her in Vivo City.

Being directionally challenged, it was something to be proud of that I could make my way there alone without getting too lost. :D

Here's she and I cam-whoring while going down the escalator. :D I'm telling you they go WAY faster than the ones in Malaysia. I kept hoping that I won't roll down one of those steps one day. (-_-)

And of course, we had our dinner before we can exchange pleasantries and hometown gossips. Below are proof that I actually ate something!

This was almost 6 months ago so please excuse me for not remembering where and what I eat. Haha! So I shall feast your curiosity with pictures:

One of the things that my closest girls and I share of interest are books; and although each of us have very different taste in our reading materials, that doesn't stop us from dominating second-hand bookstores for treasures.

She showed me a place where books read that were only read once or twice being on sale half off its original price. What a steal! :(

Love of my life looking through pages of others lives. :)

Photobucket

Koala marshmallows! OM NOM NOM NOM.

After satisfying our hungry tummy and empty minds (eh, not that empty ok); we start to wander around hunting for nothing in particular till there were space for desserts. ♥

Singapore's Vivo city was so vibrant of many sparkly, shiny things. (*w*) I feel like I a pedobear on a lookout for fresh victims kids. WTF.

Photobucket

LOOK. I found a cute pink bunny that wanted to follow me home. ♥
And yes, that is a duck face. Please don't hate me.

Photobucket

I don't think Ping was as fascinated towards it as I was. (;-;)

Our declaration of love! *tears of joy*

Apart from books, another part of our dating ritual consist of dessert hunting! And this time around, she already has something prepared for us. ♥ Oh how I love her.

Photobucket

Drinks & Sweets. Max Brenner.

This is their menu. Bleeding cute. ♥ Inside, there's a love story about the founder and why chocolate. Of course, they're just stories. But that adds a certain tang of magic to the whole experience.

I love the part where it was written that, he wanted to make the perfect chocolate for the apple of his eye. ♥ Therefore he ventured down this road.

But the venue was so well received that we were advised against waiting! The shop's tables were all occupied and the waitress could not have us book a table. :(

Photobucket

But we were not defeated! So we sat at a bench nearby and waited.
And while we wait, we set memories to print. ♥ a.k.a cam-whoring session.

Just moments after, the waitress came out and asked us in. :D She was such a darling to remember us! Coincidentally the one free table was for two. It was perfect.

Photobucket

Here's Ping with her camera. We were both materializing moments that night. :')

Photobucket

Here's a picture of two cute blonde boys teasing each other.
Ping took a picture of me drooling out the window at them- pedo much? :p

Photobucket

And here is our first platter! Tutti-Frutti Waffles. Waffles with vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate syrup and fruit slices. Think it looks like heaven?

It taste like one. ♥

Photobucket

Can't you just taste how yummy she- I mean, the dessert is? YUM. ♥

Photobucket

This is an Eighties Milkshakes.

A thick milkshake made with vanilla & chocolate cream topped with vanilla ice-cream. OH. ♥ It was not cold, nor was it warm. It tasted like a dream; softly finding their way to your every desired inches. Mmm.

Photobucket

The glass itself were as interesting! Around it were drawn a story of this boy and his cat finding their way in for the chocolaty treasure inside. And once you finished your dessert, you'll see an ending inside the glass. ;)

Damn smart gimmick!

Our other indulgent was Suckao, the do-it-yourself concentrated hot chocolate.

Like the name says; they basically provide you with milk and a supply of white, milk or dark chocolate and you can be the chef from there. :) The milk is refillable.

Photobucket

You make your drink in the mug (which is the steel ring you see in the above picture) over an open fire and decide on the concentration of chocolate in your hot chocolate yourself.

We played around for a while from most to moderate milk till Ping decided we should finish everything by dumping all the dark chocolate inside. Needless to say it was very concentrated, it almost felt like cement. LOL.

Photobucket

And here is our last indulgent! I forgot the name.

But despite a full stomach, this cake was too good to not finish. ♥ Inside the cake was melting hot chocolate that makes you drool just at the thought of it.

Photobucket

And yet even after such a sweet adventure, I can't resist to steal a bite from Winnie-the-pooh's lollipop. ♥ Haha!

Ping have been a real darling to me all these years. I have known her since we were 13 of age and this is coming to 10 years of us being together. :)

I want you to know that you are a huge part of my life and I love you to bits. ♥ I hope you have had a wonderful celebration and way more awesome days in your years. I miss you all the time.

I will definitely see you soon, dearest. :)

Happy Belated (sorry!) 22th Birthday, Tan Ping Ping.
God bless you. ♥
